Spring Has Sprung

I love this time of year when the days grow longer and the evenings get warmer and warmer. You have to love spring. There's nothing like kicking back on the grass, enjoying the weather and watching the day come to an end. A little hokie, I know, but I love it.

This is a little movie I made from footage of Chase having a grand 'ol time with his fire truck scooter. Thank you Uncle Ortiz for giving Chase one of his favorite toys.

Some friends of mine over at Tippett Studio have started a monster blog where each week they upload a reference image and then they take a shot at coming up with a monster based, sometimes loosely, on the image. It's a pretty cool site with great art.

I'm stealing this new ditty from my friend Neil Fordice: Quote of the Week!!

So I'm out having a drink with some friends tonight. I take BART to the Pleasant Hill station and then a cab from there. Believe me when I say I should NOT be driving. Thank God for cab drivers. Anyway, as I'm slouching in the back seat of a yellow checkered cab I hear over the radio:
