Some Face Time
I know there hasn't been new artwork for a while, but someone in my family needs a little face time on this blog. She's the newest member and has most kick ass smile ever. Hello Avery.

Thank you Carlos!
A few months ago my son Chase became obsessed with the Pixar film "Cars". "McQueen! McQueen?!" would be all Chase would want to watch. If he saw a red sports car on the street he'd get excited and say "McQueen!!". Now his Pixar library has grown to include some of their other movies, "Nemo", "Buzz Light", and especially "Scary Ones" which means "The Incredibles" (The reasoning behind that name is a different story). So, I e-mailed an AMAZING animator over at Pixar, Carlos Baena, to tell him how impressive the animation is and how much Chase loves "Cars". Well Carlos being one of the nicest people I've ever met, and not just in the animation industry, invited Chase for a tour of Pixar!! How awesome is that?! He even let Chase bring along his family! So Chase, Avery, Wendy and I were able to see the grand studio that is Pixar and hang with one it's finest animators, Carlos.
Sadly we didn't get a picture with Carlos, maybe next time. However if you really want to see how bad ass he is and the extent of his knowledge, check out his website.

He has some awesome information about film making, animation, and photography. He even has some really cool movies he's made. So THANK YOU Carlos for the awesome adventure. Chase still says "Carlos is nice.".
