Day 331 - Geeks
I don't know about you, but I'm loving the show "The Walking Dead". I haven't read the comic that it's based off of, but I'm definitely going back and giving it a go once this season is over.
Day 329 - Safe At Home
Did I mention that flying with two kids is tough? Yeah. Luckily my son loves movies so he was able to sit and watch a DVD while my wife and I played "Pass the Daughter" for the entire flight. However we made it!
Day 325 - Let Vacation Begin
The first day of vacation was a doozy. Flying with two kids is a tough way to go, but we managed and it was a LOT better than driving.

Day 324 - Unplugged
It's time for me to unplug. I'm taking this week off from the computer and am going to recharge the old fashioned way by NOT plugging in. However I will still be drawing everyday. I'll post all the daily drawings when I plug back in on Friday. Have a great week, Thanksgiving, and long weekend.

Day 323 - Delirious
What a day! Up at 5AM. On a plane by 8AM. In Burbank by 9:30. The CTN Expo was awesome. Saw some amazing artwork. Pascal Campion gave me an amazing piece of his art because I'm friends with Pete Kelly and Pascal's a REALLY nice guy. Had an amazing time doing the animals and creature shot breakdown talk with Animation Mentor, Bobby Beck, Pete Kelly, JD Haas, and Brian Mendenhall. Chatted with some enthusiastic students. Hung out with Geoff Wheeler, Carlos Baena, and Kevin Freeman. Had a couple of drinks. Jumped back on a plane. Home by 9:30. I'm a bit delirious, but what an awesome time!! Thank you Animation Mentor. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Day 322 - Nice Puppy
Tomorrow I'm heading down to the CTN Expo in Burbank. I'm going to be doing a talk with Animation Mentor about animating animals and creatures. If you're in the area, come check out me and Brian Mendenhall of Tippett Studio, Pete Kelly and JD Hass of ILM breaking down shots. I promise you'll enjoy yourself.

Day 318 - Frustrage
My lack of creativity coined a new phrase for me tonight. Frustrage. It's a combination of frustration and rage. Just in case you couldn't figure it out on your own.

Day 317 - Cop Out
Here is why this one is called "Cop Out": No shading, cliche' gag that really isn't funny, it has a COP who's OUT of donuts, and most importantly it's a quick way for me to go watch "Walking Dead" without staying up too late. I'm hoping to get some "Sportscenter" in before bed too.
Day 316 - Stuffed
A big "Thank You" goes out to the Kellys for feeding the Browns on Saturday. Afterward I felt like I was about to burst at the seams. Thanks guys, we had a great time.

Day 314 - Golden Gate
Today I took a day off from work and enjoyed the Bay Area. San Francisco is a beautiful city. The weather was perfect. I went and had lunch with my friend Pete Kelly at ILM and then headed down to Crissy Field to do some sketching. Here's a quick sketch I did of the most famous landmark on the West Coast. I highly recommend having days like these when you can. It's refreshing.

Day 311 - More Exercises
I'm still a bit uninspired in my own ideas. I'm feeling like I'm drawing a lot of the same things. Therefore, more exercises from "Fun With A Pencil". This was an exercise where you take one head and draw it from the front, side, then 3/4 view. Not easy. But fun.

Day 307 - Very Business Like
I was standing in the check out line at Berkeley Bowl West today and the woman in front of me was very business like. If you've ever been to Berkeley Bowl West you'll know that she stood out like a soar thumb.

Day 304 - Lincecame and Conquered
The excitement in the Bay Area is palpable. Those Giants did a crushing job on the Texans. Congrats Giants.
