New Term/New site to check out

For those that are unaware, I am a mentor on and off for a really cool online animation school called Animation Mentor. It's a fantastic program and getting better every term. Anyway, this term is one of my "On" terms and I wanted to point out a really cool site to students and anyone interested in animation:

One of the founders of Animation Mentor is Shawn Kelly. Shawn is an amazing animator at Industrial Light and Magic who, with all of his "free" time between being a founder of AM and a lead animator at ILM, has been hosting a website with some awesome animation tips and tricks. You can even e-mail him questions and get them answered. Well most of them answered. He still hasn't answered my question about if he prefers sandwiches or pizza. The site even has guest animators answer some of your questions as well. It's a great place to pick up some tips and/or really learn the heart of animation. Anyway, most of the students probably know about Shawn Kelly's site, but if they don't here it is:

animationtipsandtricks.com

Check it out even if you're not a student. I still reference Shawn's work on a daily basis. I even stole a few of his ideas at work for how to animate a character slipping! The guy know his stuff.
